Unite to strikes at Cambridge University. Strikes begin on April 21st and 22nd, followed by April 30th and May 1st. We are starting with two days a week to help our reps measure attendance levels and leave us the option to build up to more strike action as we get closer to exams.

I would much rather pay someone to come and do them. The job takes less than an hour. It should not be this hard to find someone to do this for a sane price. The fact that buying the gutter vacuum is looking like the economically sensible option is crazy.

Well. Nice location, although that whole area is prone to flooding.

I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.

Anyone in politics or journalism who was ever mentored by Mandelson, or who ever owed him a favour, needs to be hounded out of public life. Urgently.
