Got a surprise piece of fun mail from a dear friend today. The cute card with a couple cat stickers and a heartfelt message absolutely made my day. The friends who notice when you’re in a dark place and bring you a little bit of light are guardian angels on earth. Cherish them. 💖

I really need to find wrapped smoothie/boba straws, preferably in blue. Should be simple, but nope. 🙄

In bed fighting a nasty sinus headache today. So… discovered Hello Kitty Island Adventure on my iPad. This makes me feel less icky. It’s charming. And addictive. 🤣💖

Just sent the hubby to the store to pick up the usual perishables. Going to have some great eating for the next couple weeks, including muffuletta sandwiches with jarred olive salad from Central Market in NOLA.

I think more glue ended up on my fingers than the parts. 🤣 It’s definitely tiny. Tweezers help, but only so much.

Completed another miniature today. Everything had to be cut and assembled by hand, including the books and potion bottles, the latter of which consisted of 2-3 tiny parts that I had to glue together, like seed beads. Ruler shown for scale in cm.

Went to Disneyland last Sunday and had the pleasure of experiencing the all-new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. I really enjoyed it and the finale scene is just jaw-dropping. I think the teams who created this did a most wonderful job!

Thrilled to be able to gift a full dozen excess eggs to our friend to help nourish his household. Our ducks are going quackers on the laying recently! I hope they keep it up for awhile.
