I'm pessimistic about this, maybe because I saw what happened to both Hockenheim and Nurburgring when they went to a rotational calendar slot together. Ominous feeling it is a means to an end once this contract expires. I hope I'm wrong!

Always been that way at RBR, and always will.
The quotes from Yuki since the summer seem clear that he doesn't know what more he needs to do anymore. Hoping that he gets a reprieve from Aston Martin when Honda get involved.
I can only hope that the silver lining of this is that the 2nd RBR seat is a poisoned chalice. It doesn't go well normally to get promoted into it...
Finally happened. That contract extension he signed (which was a shock even then) means he gets to take a heftier payment to vacate the seat too.
Expect Lawson to be announced soon, but really I wanted Yuki to get the recognition he deserves and a shot in a top team.
