Great advice. I do act...through the local chapter of the NAACP to which I belong as well as a 30 year career of protecting the environment and removing pollution left in underserved communities as a relic of redlining and other bad policy decisions of the past. I won't give up hope or my struggle.

$1.3 million from our district with Title 1 schools (97% white). Fortunately, our voters will pass the levy that will be necessary to offset this loss of funding. Many, many more districts won't be so fortunate.
