That's part of the problem. I performed burlesque and drag for a decade; we relied on FB and IG to promote shows.
Normally, everything was great. But sometimes event promotion would get flagged as inappropriate, and all of the event details get shadow-banned. Nobody shows up except for friends.
Local (done well) helps communities, small business and effective mutual aid.
We've been talking about local store inventory, ad-hoc delivery, reuse instead of waste, and community emergency response.
