is this app flopping now? seems kinda quiet. even the thirst hashtags are a little dry and used mostly by the same few accounts
one of the reasons I’m opening the news less lately is bc the moment far*ge makes a statement or throws a press conference over absolutely
nothing, the guardian (and others) breathlessly report this -news-, urgently, in flashing live coverage or headlines placed at the top of the app. enough
literally what am I gna do now
gutted that the popjustice forum is to close. i’ve been reading/participating in that space since the early 00’s! never had a huge presence like many other users, but still felt v much a part of the community. fellow PJ-ers/unnies, pls give a follow esp if from the kpop subforum or book thread 💔
over the moon with the cliftonville by-election result today, the greens rly can win anywhere
good reading month. may we feed the king was perfection; all them dogs was electric; the palm house was superb and happiness & love was a hoot. as if was a nice read, couldn’t help but compare its meta/dual narrative style to last years audition (but better!). rabbitbox was quite touching #booksky
and the new Gwendoline Riley arrives on my doorstep this week. horray!
after reading a few so-so books this month, I’m currently tearing through the fantastic All Them Dogs by Djamel White. A thrilling, punchy read so far #booksky #queerbooks
The duke!
good morning
i think the French song is dreadful. you could have put the last few entires in a blender to make this one. and going for opera since it won the last two editions. feels totally hollow, big waste of the artists undoubtable huge voice. wish 🇫🇷 would think outside the box for future entries
i like Bulgaria a lot too. again it has that nice Balkan/Eastern European flavour, pretty catchy too. the performance is really fun! it has shades of Kant but without the gaudiness #esc
so Cyprus is great, love the traditional elements (which sometimes are lacking in modern entries). the song is big! should be a big hit on the night. the performance from Greece decides (?) was decent, needs a little polish and oomph #eurovision
slightly reluctantly dipped into this years #esc entries this past week or so. i was ready to ignore the contest but the music sucked me in…
february in books! three south Asian novels, which was a nice/accidental theme. ‘serpent’ was a fantastic, rich read; ‘A Burning’ was a super enjoyable polyphonic tale, with a delightful trans voice; ‘the roof’ also had surprise queer themes. adored trespasses - I just love Irish fiction 💚#booksky
It’s so good, very easy, similar to any other browser really, just download the app to phone or laptop/computer!
I liked this article. I’ve been using Ecosia for years. Good to consider other alternatives too…
is gay times magazine still going? never hear anything about it, and when I went on the website recently it was pretty sparse
there is so much AI rubbish from the superbowl. it’s all over threads, I’m so sick of it clogging up the internet and it’s only guna get worse. i took out a private eye subscription, attitude magazine too. trying to cut down phone/app use and read about stuff old school, the rubbish online is pmo
photo (selfie) of a man stood, neck down in the bathroom. his furry chest and belly are visible, as is his semi hard cock
happy #fursday 😚
very much agree with the sentiments here (lifted from the popjustice forum)
😍
having another new PM, oh this is so tiresome
Looks good
🙏🏼
this guy on TikTok/IG whose life always seems to be in ruins idk I’m kinda obsessed with it. sorry loool just to be constantly going -through- it is such a symptom of extreme narcissism. i get it, life is a drag but you have to take the reins on your life and be proactive at some point
bad bunny is such a ride
feeling super flat today
this was January - much better than I had originally thought. best of the month has to be the very funny Big Swiss. i was shrieking and hollering! Disappoint Me and Jean were pretty solid fiction. what a gem was ‘to hell with poets’, a charming slice of Kazakh life #booksky #queerreads #peirenepress
