He's gotten himself a black eye again.

"How about you close up shop, just for today, and come hang out with Karen and Foggy? I have a couple of cases to attend in court today, but you'll be safe there."

He offers, holding her close and rubbing her back.

Matt made his over to where he heard her slump to the ground, his hands patting her arms for a second before pulling her into a hug.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. I have you."

He says softly. It seemed the Devil was going to have to have another talk.

He's trying to drag her out of the situation, walking further inside to close the gap between her and someone who was safe.

Matt walked towards his office when he easily hears the commotion coming from inside the building, tilting his head as he listens. He freezes for a moment, trying to debate on what exactly he should do. He didn't have his suit on him, and Maggie knew his schedule like the back of her hand. >

He's take note of her hesitance, tilting his head slightly as she rushed out of the door. He took a deep breath, opening up his computer and putting in an earbud as he starts to eat. He would keep tabs on her, like he had with Karen.

"You could, but it's not ideal."

He said with a soft chuckle.

"Before you leave, let me know if there's anything I or my office can do for you, anything at all."

Another year spent doing anything other than celebrating.

"With the way it sounded when it hit the ground? Please, I insist."

He says, pulling out a good amount of twenties.

"I'm not sure which one you had, or how much they go for nowadays. Might be better to get a new one than trying to replace it."

"Hey, no matter who's fault it is the least I could do is offer to pay for it to get fixed, yeah?"

He said, carefully pulling the wallet out of his back pocket. His eyes would flick back and forth behind his red glasses as he took note of the other's body language.

His head would tilt as he noticed the device that had clattered to the ground.

"I'm so sorry, did I make you drop something?"

Matt walks down the sidewalk headed in the opposite direction, cane swaying back and forth in front of him. He accidentally bumps into the other male, causing the both of them to drop their things.

He's already had his share of visitors from other places.

Someone bring the lonely man a gift already. He's been sulking on his couch for hours.

Foggy would drive the two of them to the hospital, following behind the ambulance.

"Get whatever information you can on them, and any cameras that might have recorded what happened."

He says before stepping out of the car once they're there.

His head tilts up towards her voice as he continues ti smile, giving a warm chuckle at the response. He then starts maneuvering his food free from the wrapper.
