i feel like it wouldn't be SO bad if the bots had actual passable ai. when you battle enemy trainers in main series games they know how to use super effective attacking moves. they don't just spam scary face over and over while you dismantle their team. why cant they do that here?

the amount of bots in the ranked ladder in pokémon champions is really frustrating. it seems like if you lose a single match then you get auto paired into bots... to help you overcome your tilt? but the bots are fucking brainless. i had a beedrill use agility three times in a row against me

think it's for to say that my experiences with legends z-a could be described as 'powering through it'. the game has the bones of something really fun, and much of it is genuinely enjoyable, but so much of it is just time wasting / pointless wandering / slogging through dialogue with terrible npcs
