(There is no new "permission" being granted) This just removes the need for a license- which will likely have more facilities making it available. Don't understand why you continue to argue this. No, you're missing the point. This bill doesn't designate WHO can be served alcohol. It simply allows nursing homes (and many other types of facilities) to be able to serve it without needing a liquor license. This doesn't grant "permission" to any ndividual to have it.

And doctors will still need to verify in their orders if the patient is cleared to consume alcohol
