Dear Mr. Clegg
I have started a business, selling the contents of your house
I knew when I launched I did not have legal access your house
Without this access my company will not be profitable
Others have told me I have a flawed business model, but I disagree
Please advise how I should proceed

This was just posted by @tbretc.bsky.social on another platform. The Chicago Sun-Times obviously gets ChatGPT to write a ‘summer reads’ feature almost entirely made up of real authors but completely fake books. What are we coming to?

All my Julius zebra books are in there, the thieving bastards.
Comics are a community. I like to think that we take care of each other. Please consider following the link in the post below.
Already well thumbed, with thanks @wrdmag.bsky.social @walkerbooksuk.bsky.social. Julius Zebra's latest adventure, this time in Ancient China. An absurdly comic piece of fiction studded with fascinating historical facts. Gary Northfield @stupidmonster.bsky.social always has us howling.
Oh hey that’s my quote.
Incidentally I spent Saturday writing my speech for London Book Fair. I’m chuffed with how it turned out. It mostly covers how children’s comics were abandoned by publishers in the 90s/00s, and in doing so we lost a generation of readers.

Thank you 😌
Had a brilliant #worldbookday, fantastic, jolly upbeat teachers and kids, 110% effort in costumes all round too! Such a life-affirming day :) A visiting parent (who was also a teacher) asked me in reception if I was an author, because I looked like one! 🥸 I’ve no idea what that means!

The Government is siding with big tech over British creativity.
Today is the FINAL chance to respond to their consultation on AI and copyright.

Newspaper stand with newspapers all carrying the front page Campaign 'make it fAIr'
Every major UK newspaper - left, right, broadsheet, tabloid - is running a front page campaign against copyright carveouts for AI training.
I can't remember the last time any political cause had such broad support, let alone one so anti-big tech and so economically consequential.

Aw, thanks old bean. Always appreciated :)
Yeah, I got proper mixed up there, sorry Mark!
Fair enough, thank you!
Agree with the sentiment, but how did you get from a million a week, to selling 2 billion? There weren't two million weeks selling a million copies (or two hundred thousand weeks, depending on what you believe is the definition of a billion!).
I remember only finding them in Pontins!

Beaker, the dopey looking muppet.
I assume I’m the billionth person to notice that Zuckerberg looks more like Beaker every day.
How can there be so many people in the world who want others to suffer?
Sure is a bad time to be a person who cares about things.
