The Coffee Table is billed as a dark comedy/horror. The comedy is truly the darkest and the horror is anxiety inducingly horrific. The stellar acting only elevates this weird little Spanish movie. A tough watch but a strong recommendation!

Black and white, mostly dialogue free, slapstick, creepy furry costumes, like a live action Looney Tunes cartoon. If that sounds like your kinda thing, I highly recommend ‘Hundreds of Beavers’. It does drag a bit towards the end but well worth the ride.
