In the months leading up to the midterm elections, hundreds of accounts have emerged on social media featuring A.I.-generated pro-Trump influencers posting at a rapid pace. Several accounts have already amassed thousands followers. Some of the posts have more than half a million views.
On Sunday, Hungary will hold parliamentary elections. These elections loom large the world over. Viktor Orbán is a central figure in the international far right and his loss would be blow to familiar figures like JD Vance and Donald Trump, who are his pupils.

Jos erillisen lokaalin serverin potkaisi pystyyn tarpeeksi tykillä hardiksella, olisi jännä nähdä pystyisikö irtautumaan pilvestä, mutta ei välttämättä halvaksi tulisi.
Joo, mutta se alkuperäisen postailijan pointti oli usuttaa ChatGPT-pakolaisia harkitsemaan Mistralia. Läppärillä ei pyöri tarpeeksi nopeasti, että jotta LLM:n reaaliaikainen perustietotyökäyttö olisi pilviveikkoon verrattuna mielekästä.
Jos aikakausikompromissina sovitaan, että Mistral on rautakautinen?
Onneksi samaan aikaan tekemäni Windows > Linux Mint -vaihto oli askel tehokkaampaan suuntaan, eli digitaalisen diversiteetin julistaminen ei ole pelkkiä uhrauksia.
Ja onneksi Le Chat osasi jeesiä Linuxin tunkkaamisessa. ;)
Ei oo kertaakaan vastannut eri kielillä sekaisin, ei kiinaksi kertaakaan. Pari kertaa on jäänyt kiinni repeat curseen, joskus pitää potkia persiille halluista, rouheasti sanoisin että vastaa noin 6kk-12kk takaista ChatGPT:tä.
Toki jos tekee jotain täysin bleeding edge -hommaa missä on absoluuttisen elintärkeää olla kaikkein paras malli, pitää punnita kokonaisuutta, ja ehkä uhrata moraali tavoitteiden eteen, mutta perusjampalle Le Chat on täysin fine, varsinkin thinking mode päällä.
Oman testini tuloksena lopetin OpenAIn subin ja tilasin Mistralin vastaavan, koska arvojen ja moraalin eteen on tehtävä uhrauksia, jos niitä haluaa puolustaa. (”Uhrauksena” tässä se, ettei voi käyttää teknisesti parasta työkalua, ”arvona” esim trumpismin vastustaminen.)
Vertailin itse ChatGPT:tä ja Mistralin Le Chatin käyttöä oikeasti tavoitteellisen tietotyöni vauhdittajana päivittäin aktiivisesti parin viikon ajan.
ChatGPT on silmin nähden edellä, mutta ”kivikautinen” on liioittelua ja parempien mallien ajaminen ”läppärillä” myös pikkasen lausuntona keulii.
