ADHD is so annoying. Can’t believe I have to pay for a premium subscription to my own brain because the free version has so many popup ads

I have a love-hate relationship with climate change courses.
They’re so interesting but looking at the climate projections always is a bit demotivating

Hi friends! I’m a first years Bachelor Marine Science student and want to get more experience in the field of science communication. Does anyone have any good tips for this? I’ve already thought about getting active on socials in Marine Science circles. Any tips are appreciated! #MarineLife🦑

A recent paper said that complete bans on shark landings contribute way more than just banning fin-only landings. Do you think there are other ways to combat the decline in sharks and still accommodate for other stakeholders such as (local) fishermen and their livelihoods?

Shark science friends, hi! A friend asked me this question and I can’t formulate a very good response so I need your help!! What’s the advantage for epaulette sharks to be buccal pumpers? I can imagine it has something to do with their habitat but I don’t know if that’s the biggest reason.

CW: cetacean carcass

Found this dead cetacean while working as a lifeguard on the North coast of the Netherlands this summer. My guesses are that it’s a porpoise but I’m not sure, anyone that could help?

Hiya! I’m Manu and I’ve just started my first year of the Bachelor Marine Science at Wageningen University and Research. I’m a big elasmobranch enthusiast but can’t wait to hear more about other fields and dive deeper into the marine science/biology side of blue sky :))
