now you can just kinda I frame dodge or parry most things, it just doesn't feel as impressive especially since every other game nowadays has those mechanics too.
Doing a knife only run of RE2make is really fun, teaches you how to dodge the enemies well too.
I kinda dislike that the sequels added parrying and dodges.
RE2make is a pretty faithful recreation of the ol tank controls in that it gives you a limited toolkit to work with-
