From Second Lieutenant Nicolas Talbott, lead plaintiff in Talbott v. USA, NCLR’s case challenging the Trump administration’s transgender military ban. 
Talbott was also part of the 2017 NCLR litigation challenging the first Trump administration transgender military ban.

From Doug Hallward-Driemeier, our co-counsel in the 2015 marriage equality Supreme Court case Obergefell v. Hodges and in the 2017 case Pavan v. Smith, which established that marriage equality protects parental rights.

From Dee Deidre Farmer, the first openly transgender plaintiff to bring a Supreme Court case. Dee connected with Shannon in 1992, while Shannon was a law student, and he provided legal research to assist with her case.
