So I now have a pact with my cat where when I see him stretch, I stretch. My little furry accountabilibuddy.

That's glorious.

I was recently talking with my therapist about ways to interrupt negative brain spirals and she recommended even just taking a few seconds to stretch. She pointed out that animals like a good stretch to feel better; it does all our little animal brains good.

99% of the time it's Stede sleeping like the dead through multiple unnecessarily jaunty alarms. But then there's that one time Ed gets his revenge and Stede doesn't stop bitching about it for three weeks.
