I think some people do it because they are just spiteful and nasty. I don't leave bad reviews, I will leave a review warning if the books have graphic SA scenes that they didn't give content warnings for tho. Cause that's just wrong. But even then I'm polite.

I always glance at reviews before giving a listen, and something that drives me wild is whenever someone just praises the hell out of a book and the narrator but then gives a 4 star review? What? You literally didn't say a single negative thing. Wtf??

Need a new listen, I want something that's got Baker & Llewellyn vibes or Redmond and Haze. Victorian cosy mystery. No romance. Nothing that revolves around political shit or anything controversial. I literally just want a detective(s) solving murders. That's it. Please.
