A country should not be judged by how good things are for the well off. A country should be judged by how its poorest citizens are treated, the access they have to healthcare, food, childcare… and this is the ONLY measure of a society that should matter!
So when AI has replaced all the junior software coders of the world and the senior ones retire, who will be left to “fix” an AI when it runs amok? I feel like that needs to be addressed before we just let AI program itself.
