After spending this morning playing the N64 version of Episode I Racer (via Analogue for capture + the cartridge) AND the PC version this afternoon...
I think Episode I Racer is one of the better Star Wars games out there. INCREDIBLY fun racer. Holds up insanely well.
A big motivating factor (that I am VERY grateful for) has been how the channel manages to grow even when I’m not uploading content. There’s a steadiness I can appreciate relative to my other channel, where growth was very suddenly explosive. Thank you all for watching!!
I had to take time away from content as a whole - my main channel was delivering a beating to my mental health and just general enjoyment of games. But it’s nice to be back! I think it’s gonna be a good year for the channel.
Interspersed with this will be content about upcoming game news and releases that, transparently, will be easier to make because they will just be a lot less involved. A lot of yapping, etc.
Those should help buffer some of the consistency that is oh so important.
That said, I have two review videos completed now: Yoda Stories and Tiny Death Star. The goal is to get four other relatively smaller games done as well to get my six total. That’ll give me the time I need to tackle the behemoth that is the KOTOR video.
The plan is to get six review videos totally finalized before I start uploading anything again. These videos take quite a bit of time, even when short, because my day job is a full 8-10 hours every day. And I’ve got a family! I’ve got stuff to do.
