Gunn is best known for 2025’s “Superman," the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise and the Emmy-nominated TV series “Peacemaker." He is also co-chair and CEO of DC Studios.

Hebda joined the University in 1981 as an assistant professor of mathematical sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences and remained on the faculty at SLU for nearly 45 years.
