The question will be if USians will be apathetic in Nov. Apparently the institutions can hold but they need engagement from the population.

Why push over the money changers tables when you can do a deal with them?

My dream has been to drive the PanAmerican highway, this dream is now dead as my boycott on everything USian is permenant. I can understand how Ukrainians feel about ruzzia because of the total disregard of Ukrainian national identity.

I grew up as proud Hungarian diaspora. When Orban took the country back to autocracy things never sat right with me. While I never experienced directly anything negative because of it, I have always been hesitant to persue citizenship. Now everything has changed. Gratulálunk Magyarországnak

Don't forget about the continuing kinetic sanctions on ruzzia

We'll see how things go in Hungary tomorrow, if the US props up Orban with boots on the ground Ukraine should be very concerned.

A theocratic regime winning the propaganda war is something nobody expected. The US has also lost financially, politically, and militarily. A nice way to celebrate the 250th...

The mafia/developers will make out good, but when Ukraine take back the occupied territories these settlers are screwed.

Just like when ruzzia invaded Ukraine, it was obvious that the war was lost when the smaller country didn't immediately collapse. Regardless if there's a peace treaty or not, Iran has won the war simply by not losing.

There's a lot happening is market manipulation. When these announcements are made the stock value goes up and his people can sell and make easy money

We might be better off without the US. If ruzzia attacks the Baltics, the US could prevent a NATO response.

There's worst things than a drop of HCl, but he'd most certainly get written up of OHAS.

Maybe they have an antitampering device and are hoping to take out sappers who try to disarm them.

2/3 would give Tisza the ability to change the constitution. I hope that Magyar is a man of his word and follows the rule of law.

He sells bibles and manipulates Christians. I don't think that he's technically an atheist since he worships himself.

Agreed, there's no land bridge between ruzzia and Hungary. Slovakia and Serbia have questionable loyalties but both are too small to make much of a difference.

I see maga as the descendent of the confederacy. You mentioned not prosecuting Nixon as the event putting the US on this path. I assert that the precedent was set by not prosecuting the treasonous confederate leadership. The rot is very deep.

What's interesting about this UK article is that the same poll asked if Brexit was a good idea and 64% said it wasn't. The UK publication makes no mention of that part.

In my opinion it's better that the US left rather than destroy it from within. If Fidesz is passing info to the ruzzians I imagine that a far greater torrent is coming from the US.

I remember interactions with maple maga and every time the fuel price increased they'd automatically assume it was more carbon tax. Some people are simply too far gone and gullible.

I don't think ruzzia has the ability to reverse engineer much of anything these days.

In the early days of the war they proved themselves because they're water cooled. Modern guns were being fired so much that their barrels were melting down. These old timers didn't have that problem.

They're not being paid in hard currency. Hyperinflation is inevitable with the direction their economy is going in and this large amount of money won't have the same value going forward.

Somebody has just made some serious money on the markets

USians whine about having to pay more for fuel, while turning a blind eye to other countries literally running out because of the war caused by their govt.

Gas has gone up in my city by $0.60/l but I am way more concerned about what will happen in the developing world.

Or that they created such a high bar for getting rid of the leader, when a simple vote of nonconfidence would have sufficed.
