Israelis are very harsh critics. Do it their way or...

Dan Bice did a lot of good reporting and was very personable and approachable.
Cancer, on the other hand, can fuck right off. Along with the Republican who tear down our defenses against it.
Whaaat?
And so young!
I detest Ari Fleischer but got a chuckle from:
"If you're going to pick a fight, at least win it."
IDF in occupied south Lebanon: cooking in Lebanese homes after forcing inhabitants out, smashing a statue of Jesus, laughing as they drive through ruins, singing their anthem in front of ruins, and even literally kidnapping a puppy from its mum while giggling

He was, apparently, a good man but he was not an indispensable man. None of us are. And he was slipping.
We need Democrats to make way for younger talent instead of roosting in public office long past their prime.
p.s. your article lacks a link to the TPM Join page.
I was a Josh/ TPM reader / supporter since the late 1990s. We parted ways recently over a huge issues, but I think will re-up simply due to the crisis moment that we live in.

More on Ben Gurion's extremism, here, in this most excellent article from Tel Aviv paper Haaretz. It documents Ben Gurion's atrocities.
Israel is destroying the public record in very Orwellian fashion.

We could all do much better at talking about pollution, public health, and pollution prevention.
To my mind, it's a form of national defense to protect our people from the threats of disease and illness. And Republicans are weak on this defense.
The threats to take over Canada also deserve mention, along with the insults.
Charlie Kirk was a vicious hatemonger who used student spies to stalk and attack professors who expressed views Kirk did not like.
He was a terrible person.
The Republican Party is Antivax, anti-public health, but they sure to a lot to help polluters keep on polluting.
One day I totaled up the time in office of all Israeli PMs and Netanyahu wins by a landslide.
No-one has served longer in the office than Bibi. Not even Ben Gurion. He defines Israel.
When we insist that Israel is not Judaism, we speak in defense of the Jewish people who are not responsible for Israel's actions.
Also, when people conflate Israel and Judaism, they associate Israel's acts with Judaism. As if Israel's atrocities reflect Jewish custom or values. No!
In general and especially here, we need to be specific when assigning responsibility and criticism.
Having done that, we need to get with the - focused - criticism.
In this case, we're constantly told Israel is the Jewish people, which is a slur on the Jewish people, and a fiction.
Imagine the survivors of the Nazi concentration camps being told that a nation in the name of their faith and in their memory would commit mass slaughter of civilians.
I don't think they'd be happy.
It's obscene.
18 subpoenas from Dems passed. Credit where due. Good job.
Release the Epstein-Trump Files.
The Bezos Post. Fascism grows in the darkness
I’m generally in favor of ridiculing Trump, but the TACO thing bothers me. He‘s threatened genocide in Iran. He’s called for the execution of members of Congress. We *want* him to chicken out.
Spot on.
And they would be far better on many other issues, where I found some enthusiasm.
Demanding that people support politicians who fund mass slaughter and starvation is an entirely unreasonable demand. It's like saying "eat shit and like it."
You present yourself as an intellectual while making sweeping statements based on assumptions, stereotypes, and ignorance.
I opposed Biden / Harris support of the slaughter. Yet I supported them with my time, money, and vote because I knew they would be less bad than Trump.
As one of those people who opposed Israel's mass slaughter and starvation of civilians, I along among the 2 of us can speak to those motivations. Not you
The thing is the mass slaughter of human beings. It's about universal principles of human rights. It's about stopping the USA from supporting it.
Asking a politician if the recognize and oppose genocide (or mass slaughter) is entirely right and proper.
A lot of people oppose mass slaughter of civilians and expect pols to do the same. You are not one of those. OK, so a) yikes, b) WTF, and c) go ponder your inhumanity.
Your 3-post rant is unrelated to the discussion and to my question.
And it reflects horribly on you that you are offended that people would oppose the mass slaughter of civilians and need to invent motivations to explain it with anything except their own words.
You're flat out lying about people.
So yes / no questions are somehow wrong?
