I was going to use a relay but then of course you’ve gotta have some digital output from your laptop to drive the relay which I haven’t figured out how I’m gonna do that yet. Probably some python script talking to little ESP 32.

I’ve been working writing a Gnuradio AM/SSB/FM transceiver for the Pluto that will work on any frequency but interested in what you’re doing with the antenna switching
Great. Anyhow I like your concept of an antenna that's not going to freak out the neighbours 😊
VHF/UHF?
And we have Meshtastic - we are seeing up an internet resilience comms mesh across Melbourne for when they all go out!
Et toi!
Built a raspberry pi powered remote triple receiver for Lora Meshtastic, ADSB, and an Airspy mini for the roof. #sdr #hamradio #adsb #meshtastic
Great day to get out of the office and do a bushwalk outside of Melbourne
Quick home made random wire - printed the winder. Wound a 9:1 un-un and 41' and 17' wires to be used with a QRP ATU.
Now for some field tests 😊
Thanks, Chris. I’ll check it out. I realise that at the end of the day it’s really just practice practice practice 👍
Thanks Jim. I’m usually out swimming or bike riding around sunrise. I can’t bring myself to the sit inside and play on the radio unfortunately, but next time it’s raining ….
Me too. What’s the app running on your Mac?
Thanks, Jim. I’m gonna practice a bit more than I might give it a try one day soon. I have never had a single CW contact in my life but I’m feeling a need to do it.
Do you ever get any VK3’s on the SST?
Which ferrite? I've only been getting around max -40dB for 43 material with a usable range of < -30dB for 3 MHz to 46 MHz
Had a lovely week up in the Victorian Alps alternating hiking and mountain bike. Took the IC-705 and had some good contacts on 40m and 20m QRP
