I hope that The Hoff can take more away from his time in Norwich than that cold he had for about four months during the winter. We go again (at Norwich).

I feel incredibly sad for The Hoff and Glen who embraced life in the city, always spoke honestly and acted with dignity and good humour even when things were not going quite right. I wish nothing but the best for them both in the future.
I think that the behaviour of some of the players recently has left a lot to be desired and I feel sad that there have been no well-wishes from them on social media. I hope that’s not also the case in real life.
Still digesting the sacking of The Hoff and Glen today, I’ve not been so shocked by an NCFC sacking for a long time. Performances and results have been going the wrong way but there have been a lot of mitigating circumstances this season and this was supposed to be a ‘project’.
Sometimes people will have opinions you don’t agree with and you can STILL REMAIN FRIENDS despite the wildness of that opinion. A great time as ever on the Michael Bailey Podcast!
Podcast time! We talk about Blackburn, refereeing, the agony of throwing three points away, and how long youthful naivety can be forgiven. Plus a @lyanrivermore.bsky.social quiz classic! pod.fo/e/2b42e7
Sorry to say we’re being all hopeful about Norwich again. #ncfc

I’ve been writing for the NCFC programme again this year, this time about some of the most memorable games of the 90s. I really enjoyed writing this one, about Europe and the joy of ‘firsts’ in football.
Proper good, and hopeful, as you would expect
We are delighted to be receiving support from the Office for Students to deliver an innovative new project focused on supporting children on a child protection plan, run in collaboration with @sheffielduni.bsky.social, London Academy of Excellence Tottenham and Frontline.
So nice!
Really nice to see on the NCFC doc that one of Hanley’s prized possessions was his tribute from the lockdown promotion season. @alongcomenorwich.bsky.social arranged one for all the players. Was special for us and glad it meant something to them too.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, what is the point of remembering being sad when you can just pretend it didn’t happen?
We ask the big questions in the latest #ncfc pod:
🟡 What’s the optimal number of games Sargent can miss per season so he’s good for us but no one bids for him?
🟡 Who wins a Championship mascot race?
🟡 What are people saying about Farming Simulator?
🟡 Can Norwich sneak into the top 6?
New pod! Hoping for a long run for our new feature, ‘Shane Pickeduppy’
Christmas pod! Sadly no Xmas cheer against Scott Parker’s gilet but lots of fun with @lyanrivermore.bsky.social’s quiz, another Farming Simulator review, and @zoevfmorgan.bsky.social shaming Steve’s Ipswich Christmas tree. #ncfc
10 goals, 6 points, and 1 big happy week. @lyanrivermore.bsky.social hosts, and Steve (still not on Bluesky but we’re trying) and I rabbit on.
Plus, finally we’re giving the fans what they’ve been crying out for: genuine reviews of the game taking Carrow Road by storm, Farming Simulator. #ncfc
Some superb leaning, here
Still no NCFC Numbers on Bluesky (unbelievable) so sharing this here. @chrisgoreham.bsky.social joins Steve, @lyanrivermore.bsky.social and I to talk goalkeeping, nice boys, Alex Neil and Kenny. And there’s a quiz! pod.fo/e/287857
This is better, lads. Keep it going (try not to concede again).
Using our first ever Bluesky post to let you know more about our Scholars Programme! We work across the UK with students aged 8-18. A world-expert PhD researcher comes into your school and delivers a university-style course, usually based on their own research, to small groups of pupils.
Any football podcast worth its salt should be giving crucial life updates about former players now in their 40s.

Hello there!
Here’s a Norwich City podcast! Maybe over here on Bluesky we’ve not lost 3 in a row? #ncfc
