Sketch is a mischievous and free-spirited guy who likes to tag all over mobious. I imagine his main ability is that he can stun and blind enemies with his spray paint temporarily (spin dashes into a tornado or wheel). I think after every emerald he gets a new effect/color to solve puzzles and add new effects. He also a lil inspired by jet-set-radio

Blot is sketch’s jealous and lonely doppelgänger. is a bundle of paint, chaos energy, and imposter syndrome. He’s rather quiet and kinda creepy but he tries to replicate Sketch’s mannerisms but fail. Due to his inky body he can squash and stretch. He intends to replace Sketch as he sees him as “perfect”

In a hypothetical game scenario, Sketch accidentally creates Blot from a failed attempt at a mural on angel island (where knuckles just so happens to not be there) and the Master emerald reacts to it, birthing blot. Blot’s obsession and envy of being perfect and liked drives him to be a rival as Sketch basically has to fix what mess he caused with Blot. A theme of possibly embracing chaos and finding your value of imperfections as well as coming into you own (TL:DR: symbolic artist Allegory)
