I am a Jollibee stan. When I was in college in the UK, I hauled my ass over to Earl's Court the opening week of Jollibee first opening in London. Like there's some pictures out there of me in the crowd in local papers lol. I'm definitely upset, my fellow Filipinos are upset and for good reason

2. Jollibee is a brand that is for Filipinos. You will find very few people who will speak a bad word about Jollibee as a whole. It is deeply embedded in the cultural landscape of both Filipinos based in the Philippines and the Filipino diaspora.

SE's refusal to acknowledge us as a region, as a country is a knife to the chest when paired with the fact that Jollibee is arguably one of the greatest Filipino exports of the 20th century.

Soken mentions in the PLL that Jollibee is a Filipino brand, and Jollibee do not hide they are 100 Pinoy.

We even have fan events that people have flown in from other countries to come to, most notably organized by the wonderful folks at @helloworldxivph.bsky.social. When Filipinos love something, they are very vocal about it and will not hesitate to express it

Despite this, a lot of Filipino players love and play the game! And the video is completely damning that they are aware of this fact because the DC specifically pictured here is Elemental - which is the DC which statistically has the most concentration of Filipinos.
