Watched this, very informative and I ended up showing it to my parents. Great project to be a part of! I think these types of documentaries should be watched more than most media being consumed…

I dove back into MTG for FF and it hooked me again, so I’ve watched and read hours (days?) worth of guides, land bases, staples, etc and it’s been a lot! I have some precons but I’m building a few decks for different intents/brackets. Had to pull back though, hit like 10 deck ideas quickly! XD

I’ve gone the journey of precons -> making B3 decks -> checking out B4/5 CEDH lists -> quickly stepping back to B3 and fun precons 😆 Seems like with most games, there’s a point where efficiency starts outweighing the fun! Love unique cards over a deck that’s 80% staples.

The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

Been to every one and won’t miss this one! I wonder if I saw you at the first one when I was in high school! Still have my printed out badge from that one. So many memories.

Ta’unar repair bay buddies! Yours turned out great! I need to strip the paint on mine as it was a rush job to use it in a tournament years ago which was worth it for the epic battle. Now time to properly redo/finish it! It also collapsed during a move.

The attention to detail is amazing for such a large game! I love that the waves coming in actually crash against rocks on the coast. I’ve spent many hours just going off the beaten path just to see more, not even for treasure/quests.

Got glasses at 35 to fix astigmatism I didn’t know I had until recently, and it’s night and day! 🥺 I can already feel less tension and am able to focus on what I’m doing for longer. One less thing for my AuDHD brain to be sidetracked by!

Highly recommend the Unreal course from SoVGA! It’s great having an organized way to practice using the software & demonstrate it. I had previously taken their Wwise course years ago.

It’s been really refreshing to get back into more modern audio/game engine tools!

Going from Wwise -> WoWEdit -> Unreal (and Wwise again) is quite the whiplash. Relearning a lot of capabilities and implementation workflows.

I chipped my front tooth recently when my brain was already on the next bite but my hand wasn’t and I bit into my fork hard… >.< out of sync actions like that sometimes happen more often as I age (or just lack sleep).

I think Metroid Prime would be really fun in VR, an arm cannon is great because you don’t have to deal with holding anything or trigger graphics/physics. The exploration would be so immersive!
