At one point, my planned "Cold Equations" was about a 23rd century AI making use of the Necronomicon, and turning Earth into a cult of Old One worshippers. If i wanted satire, you'd have targeted ads for sacrificial pits, Deep One jewellery, and clean-up crews for sacrifices that went wrong.

Best toy department, although John Lewis was close. I was at school with the son of the manager of the toy department. So jealous. Drastic Plastik, Micronauts, and SW wall to wall.

Been a bit of a struggle this month. Another memorial this week. Motivation, energy, enthusiasm, and creativity seem to be at their lowest ebb. Missed Conpulsion at the weekend and UKGE looks unlikely. Considering an evening class or OU degree...

Time to get back to writing: pulp ideas for Thrilling Tales (D6 akin to Star Wars), new CoC campaign, and a Year Zero sci-fi horror setting. Inspiration vs. Procrastination.

I should try and get back to writing down more settings and stories: mostly for clients. I've got a few things planned: time and energy are in short supply right now, though. Haven't gamed for a long time!

Holidays and flights sorted to Verona & Lake Garda again. Also going to try and sharpen my drawing skills. Pencil and ink, likely. Don't have the coordination for miniature painting these days...

I think Mac is still around but the shop is long gone. I think he still makes swords and the like off London road. I don't remember any erotica, but bought so many games there, including D6 Star Wars modules.
