"Better, Sage has been helping me deal with the stress from the club so... definitely alot better since you saw me last."

"!!!"
The feline jumped slightly and hissed
"Don't sneak up on me like that-"
The feline got a random chill up his spine.
He doesn't know why.
"Alright, sounds good love, meet me by the front door in ten minutes give or take, hm?"
Another gentle kiss on the hybrids cheek before heading off to change, arriving at the front door ten minutes later.
He had braided his hair the way Miss Jane had taught him and wore a rather dashing dress.
The feline let out a nervous chuckle after that statement, his hand coming up to rub the back of his head as he spoke.
"Seems like I've got more family down here than I ever did back in the living world..."
"🎶Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy all for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage~
I can't afford a carriage~!
But you'll look sweet upon the seat-
Of a bicycle built for two!🎵"
The feline let a gentle smile form upon his visage.
"One of these days, you'll have to teach me the language, Madmoiselle. Sounds pretty, sure, but I haven't the faintest idea what you said."
"Perhaps some rest would be good for me... there a catch? Normally, everything comes with something attached down here..."
A few blinks from the feline-
"Sorry I didn't quite catch that- not that I would've understood regardless, by the sounds of it... Italian?"
"Cette gueule de bois est vraiment terrible..."
"It's always a treat to see you dress up~ You've got quite the figure for a suit, Mon Amour. But if you'd prefer to go out as is, that's fine with me too. I just want to tie back my hair and choose a less business casual dress."
"Let me put on something more fitting for a night out, then we can head on our way. Sound good?"
He asked while planting a quick kiss on the hybrids cheek.
"Hm... perhaps we could check out that diner that just opened up a few blocks away from The Cathouse. I've heard they have really nice food there. I'm not sure if they have a bar or serve those kinds of drinks, though."
"Another one of the V's in my neighborhood... Putain de vie, je ne peux pas passer une journée sans tomber sur un de ces connards..?"
Mumbling to himself. Don't mind him.
The feline let out a soft chuckle and returned a nuzzle of his own.
"Sounds like a plan to me, Mon Amour. Got anywhere in mind?"
The feline let out a gentle purr from the kiss.
"You'd be surprised just how many reasons I could come up with for being with you. You're creative, thoughtful, never give up on me. Shall I go on?"
❝ Did you really think people were gonna be saints down here?
It's called a "cutthroat" industry for a reason, Babes.~ ❞

The feline let out a small chuckle before turning his gaze to his boyfriend.
"Just some poetry I used to read before bed, it's nothing special."
~Par toi je change l'or en fer
Et le paradis en enfer;
Dans le suaire des nuages
Je découvre un cadavre cher,
Et sur les célestes rivages
Je bâtis de grands sarcophages."
The feline is reciting some rather grim poetry.
"L'un t'éclaire avec son ardeur,
L'autre en toi met son deuil, Nature!
Ce qui dit à l'un: Sépulture!
Dit à l'autre: Vie et splendeur!
Hermès inconnu qui m'assistes
Et qui toujours m'intimidas,
Tu me rends l'égal de Midas,
Le plus triste des alchimistes;

"So long as you can keep me protected from Val's continuous pushing onto my territory. I provide you with any insightful information that may run through my club... it seems pretty straight forward, can't say there's much more I'd need tacked on."
"...That would certainly be more manageable than attempting to retain my soul just to sell it off again..."
The feline let out an inaudible grumble underneath his breath.
"Noooooooooo"
He whined slightly, barely managing to pick himself up.
"No no no- not while I'm like this- He's not mad is he-? I haven't been home in awhile-"
Still a barely, serious drunken tone despite trying to be serious. He's also slurring alot
"Perhaps, but I'd like to remind you my soul, my soul is already bound to another. So what do I really have to offer someone with such a set of skills..? Other than perhaps riches in the form of financial compensation."
The feline began to laugh a bit, although it was far from a genuine laugh. More so an expression of repressed pain.
"Water? In this office-? Good luck-"
He's not taking this very seriously, in all fairness- he was literally surrounded by enough empty bottles to arm a barfight.
"And here is where we come to the issue with your suggestion, I'm nowhere near on the same level in terms of deception, especially when improvised. It's far more likely that I'd be sniffed out."
"I find that hard to believe... I've yet to meet a pure blooded demon who couldn't easily see past deception of even higher calibers than what I'm capable of. You say this as if you've already spun her a tale of your ow-...
You did, didn't you..?"
The repeated knocking sound managed to get the near comatose feline to shift around and let out the groan of someone who was clearly too intoxicated for their own good.
His voice was scratchy, raspy sounding, much like when one loses their voice. He must've been doing a lot of yelling.
"Come in"
Yeah-
No response-
With how much alcohol is in his system? He probably wouldn't be conscious for a while-
And given that no one's seen Calli leave his office in nearly two weeks? That's probably concerning.
