For context, I edit a lot of 4k video (from 30fps to the occasional 120fps) in Davinci Resolve. I hardly use my laptop for anything else except some online shopping and watching YouTube.

Going to be getting a new MacBook Pro soon but I have no idea what the difference is between the M5 chips so it’s time for me to read up on that. Currently using a 2022 M2 MBP but that will be getting passed down to my spouse.
