Politically the country is ridiculously unstable, but they've had one guy running the national bank for 20 years, with the currency stable but most people working informally. Will Trump and Riubio come around looking for someone Chinese to bash and disrupt the economy? Could happen.
In any case it seems that the next president won't command majorities in either chamber of the bicameral Peruvian congress.
