Unfortunately, it seems some of these links are now dead.

One thing I wish MCU silicon vendors would do (e.g. STM32, Nordic) is be more upfront on the "bill of material" of IP blocks they use in their chips.

Many different chips re-use the same IP blocks for UARTs, SPI, DMA, etc. Knowing when this is/isn't the case makes writing drivers WAY easier.

The wakeup for me: this is how the average person thinks. They can't even be brought to a state of caring/understanding despite seeing the horrors the government can do to an innocent individual. They consciously choose to be blind.

Recalling a frustrating talk with a family member about the government eroding civil liberties where she goes: "If you’re not doing wrong, you’re fine."

That assumes you define "wrong," it never changes, enforcement is fair, errors don’t happen, and power isn’t abused. Otherwise, airtight.

Autistic observation #3215:

When companies say "We want curious people who challenge assumptions," it usually means "we want people who challenge only the assumptions we've already rejected."

(a^1/n)=a should be (a^1/n)^n=a

Yes, not my prettiest job. Should've used far less solder but I'm out of practice and couldn't get the blobs to join how I wanted so ended up using a lot more than planned. Also, unplanned diversion into the third dimension due to lack of space.

Every "why are Americans like this" vs "why are Europeans like this" argument is really about whether you got your legal system from Rome or from some English guys making it up as they went.

a bit frustrating to see the same pattern here as on twitter where people respond to headlines based on a completely opposite interpretation from what the content actually says... Maybe headlines always were a bad idea

Game prices are insane nowadays. I remember when I'd pay 25€ for a game and it was a complete, finished product.

Now, the average price for a AAA title is like 80€ and you still have extra DLCs on the side + micro transactions everywhere.

Not even mentioning the poorly optimised 60€ remasters...
