If you're currently hosting a podcast, what's one part of the publishing process that you wish you could just skip? I'll be taking notes! 📝

Other than integrating the Jetstream/analytics for better observability, I've been rethinking the "export" experience.

Sharing your podcasts to Spotify or Apple shouldn't feel like a chore. I'm trying to create a simpler, less extensive flow that will make exporting your podcast feel easier.

Since our initial launch on March 8, I've been diving a bit deeper into how different platform workflows impact users.

The obvious concern is performance. Our users deserve a fast, and fluid experience that does not get in the way of publishing their podcasts.

Bummed about not making it to the conf next week, but will be tuning in virtually!!

The implementation I am working with and testing locally is Bluesky activity vs VoxPort plays, both streams visible.

It depends on what we're ingesting. Currently we are tracking likes, follows, and posts/mentions via the Jetstream. V2 adds reposts. Velocity shows separate trend lines per metric. We're not deduplicating overlapping listeners yet, but the collection filter determines what's on the dashboard

Our goal is to continue building a platform where podcasters can own their content while receiving analytics across the ATProto network.

Next up: reduce friction throughout the distribution process!

Studio UI updates for clearer episode management and a refreshed analytics experience!

Our next update will be an exciting one! Jetstream integration will capture every like, follow, repost, and mention as it's happening!

This will allow podcasters to see exactly how their content resonates across the ATProto network.

Jetstream is set up locally and working as it should be! 🎉

Adding the Jetstream will be a bonus for the podcaster dashboard. We will be able to give users a better view of their engagement.

RSS is also key to what VoxPort's goal is. We want to be a distribution center for podcasters.
