It's not like I'm making any money either! Ideally I want the artists to get the recognition & sales. What if someone hears a song in a mix and wants to buy the track but can't because they can't find it? I have strong opinions on track lists, but to not provide one still makes zero sense.

Believe me; I'm so grateful for folks like him doing these mixes. It helps me out tremendously in finding new music in genres I love (e.g. hip hop) but don't have the time/knowledge/contacts/resources to follow the genre as closely as I'd prefer.

I don't mean to harsh on folks, esp someone like Andrew doing this work for free. I'm sure it takes hours & hours of time to put his mixes together. In the scheme of things my gripe is minor. I'm happy if people bite tunes from my show, I'm just trying to spread good music

I posted a comment on the Mixcloud page, we'll see what happens. I love that he makes these mixes, but if I want to bite them for my own show it's such a hassle. I don't want to have to bother him every month or so just to get track IDs.

In 2026 why is anyone making mixes without track lists?!?! Especially if you give them away for free and post them publicly.
It makes no sense to me.

Like the Tamba Trio LP I posted the other day hard to believe this ended up here in Tucson in immaculate condition! I'm not a huge Bossa Nova head but it's one of the great music styles of the world & this is some of the best. Smooth, yearning, passionate and groovy.

Just added this Jan. 31, 1912 performance by Zaki Mourad (b. Alexandria 1880; d. Cairo 1946), protege of Abd Al-Hayy Hilmi (whose face is the album's cover) and father of the star Layla Murad, to this album.

Includes a rare, live (1991), unreleased version of Kelan Phil Cohran's signature song "White Nile."
