Have you checked out the Wake Dems event calendar lately?
It’s a great way to connect with your neighbors, hear what’s happening on the ground, and find easy ways to get involved while hanging out over a drink.
Pretty neat to watch something you helped facilitate rise out of the ground 🏘️
Cottages of Idlewild: 18 permanently affordable homes on land previously owned by the city. We initiated this project in 2020 and missing middle housing reform changes also made it possible. #ralpol

This chapter has been one of the hardest in my life, and I'm thankful for the support of the many people who helped bring this matter to a just outcome.
At the conclusion of the proceedings, the defendant was sentenced to 44 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, and he was ordered to receive treatment both during and after incarceration.
Today I traveled to Wilmington, North Carolina to deliver a victim impact statement in the case against an individual who has stalked, harassed, and threatened me and many others in our community for several years.

I am honored to receive the endorsement of the The News & Observer.
As Wake County navigates rapid growth and a shifting federal funding landscape, experience matters. I’m ready to continue putting my local government experience to work for every resident of Wake County.
Proud to join the Raleigh-Apex NAACP for Souls to the Polls.
Grateful to have the endorsements of the Raleigh-Wake Citizens Association (RWCA) and the Wake County Voter Education Coalition, champions for voter participation and equity.
I would be honored to receive your vote.
I got LASIK recently. I’m wearing glasses in my campaign pics. No one recognizes me at the polls. Growing up I never understood how folks were fooled by Clark Kent’s disguise. I get it now? Anyway, I bought some fake glasses and will be wearing them the rest of the election. 🤷🏻♂️
Early voting starts today and the polls are open! You can vote at any early voting site from February 12-28. I would be honored to have one of your votes for Wake County Commission, at large. I’m running to add local government experience and LGBTQ+ representation.
Honored to receive the personal endorsement of Blair Reeves of @carolinaforward.bsky.social
Blair has been a leading voice for smart growth and good public policy in NC, and I’m grateful for his support as we work to move Wake County forward.
From our Raleigh City Council work session today on housing affordability. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made in Raleigh with more work to do. #ralpol #wakepol
