A work in progress cover for a TTRPG. The left side of the image is white with paper texture. The right side of the image has three common looking folks in turquoise, a faint outline behind them with a yellow background. The title "Commoners" and "by Zach Havenlok" are in grey and black with a ink like font and texture.

I jokingly said last year after seeing Pulp that I should make a Britpop-inspired game.

Well, Commoners for the #BreathlessJam might just make that joke come to fruition. What does a Britpop-inspired game look like?! We will figure out along the way!

What is a Wronguncle?! #ttrpg #monster YouTube video by Tales From The Unknown

These last couple weeks I have been talking about the wonderfully weird and sometimes terrifying creatures of Dolmenwood and I honestly just need more people to know about the Wronguncle.

A fungus that steals personalities then goes on a little quest.

Various tarot cards including: Ace of Vapes, Ace of Tapes, The Devil and The Tower. Each card has a comedic depiction of a scene from "On Cinema at The Cinema".

What's the ideal #ttrpg to play using my On Cinema at The Cinema On Tarot deck?

I feel like the potential is limitless.

It's going to be a low-stakes game, in which you don't have to worry about dying but instead the major consequence is "burn out".

I also want to make it so that each character has a mundane goal they are trying to accomplish.

So I might try to mess with clocks or a similar style mechanic.

It's about playing commoners in a fantasy world. The characters are attempting to accomplish a mundane task like getting to their favorite food stall but like something wild is happening in the background like a dragon attack.

The tagline is: A TTRPG about common people and their common problems.

Brainstorming some skills for the #breathless game jam during my break and so far I got: Wallop, Scramble, Plot, Chatter and Gander.

If anything they bring me some delight haha

Mockups of the two covers of "Before the Bog God". On the left is a darker cover with green linework. The central image depicts a wisher mid-ritual, while the smirking leviathan looks down from the window frame above. On the right is the lighter cover with red linework. The central image is of the smirking leviathan - a massive eldritch worm with many eyes and tendrils of shadow - looming over a ritual site with six torches. The silhouette of a person approaches the ritual site while a cunning auspex looks down from the window frame above.

"Mörk Sol" in a blend of fonts: "Mörk" feels painted or smeared in oil, while "Sol" is an industrial, gear-like font. The "O" of "Sol" is an eclipse, with coronal flames emerging from behind the occluding celestial body as a spaceship flies across.
The background shows three spaceships burning towards a large space station entry port. Below an unknown user ID image glitches onto the HUD. The entire image is rendered in a gritty, distressed color pallette of acid greens, pinks, blues, and blacks.
Made by Conlin Durbin, Matt Best, Andrew Beauman. Infinite Citadel logo and wordmark. Compatibel with Mörk Borg.

A pale human face is distorted beneath a layer of rippling liquid, streaking almost like flowing ice. "Spill Your Fluids" title overlays the image, with "Fluids" rendered in a drippy, goopy font. The Infinite Citadel logo is in the bottom right, changed to look like it's made of cum.

Cover artwork for The Beckoning Dream. A strange figure of infinite power stands in the center, eight arms outstretched. Crows and wolves comprise its amorphous, shadowy body as it offers us different implements: a sword; the Sun card; a wand; the Hermit card; a chalice; the Moon card, burning; the Ace of Pentacles; and an outstretched hand, beckoning you inward towards a surreal landscape of infinite possibilities. Mountains encase the skyline as a red dragon and space station float above. The crescent moon drips blood while a meteor flies across the sky. The figure splits a scene in the foreground. On the left side, a bridge, guarded by the Guardian Troll who sits in its shadow, crosses over to The Citadel atop a floating landmass. On the other side a figure walks towards The Tower, their outline shifting with chromatic distortions that convey a sense of power akin to the central figure's, but not yet fully developed. Near the cataclysmic tower is a pond and a tree. Disembodied eyes peer out from the figure above tendrils of flame.

For all the little TTRPG designers I've worked with or reviewed...

I'm putting together some business-facing material for publishers (which I'm very bad at). If you have a minute to spare, I'd be super grateful if you'd send me a little testimonial.

Thank you so much! <3

I'm glad you liked it!

The more games using nature for inspiration the better!

Listened to this while drinking my morning tea, what a way to start a day.

Highly highly recommend checking this out. The production design is out of this world and the story is so beautifully haunting!

Less than 20 minutes, but the story will stick with you for much longer.

Picked up some Mothership modules for some video research 👀👀👀

With that being said, does anyone have any more recommendations for some Mothership things with awesome monsters?

You'll know I've been kidnapped if I ever say the words "I love making Youtube Thumbnails".

one thing I love most about @cozyrpgreviews.bsky.social is the music that’s in their videos

The video starts and you know you’re going to feel better by the end of the video because of the music, the calm voice, and the great insight on the game

Such a gem of a YouTube channel
