Hi @nickybandini.bsky.social Any chance of a follow back- just wanted to ask you something Italian football related.
I have a feeling he’s going to do pretty well. Epic game last night.
Am going to take a punt and say 1999/2000 season.
Is that the world’s worst Christmas jumper?
Following Gary O'Neil and Russell Martin sackings today, there are only 2 English managers in the Premier League.
🇮🇹 Serie A, 16 Italian managers
🇪🇸 La Liga, 15 Spanish managers
🇫🇷 Ligue 1, 10 French managers
🇩🇪 Bundesliga, 9 German managers
🏴 PL, 2 English managers
Except it was blatant!
Coppa Italia semi final second leg- 1995/96. Fiorentina won 4-1 on agg and won the final too!
Looking very much the part!

His dad’s genes are very strong!
Stunning city. Although my visit (in August) wasn’t properly thought out. The heat of the sun off those stone buildings…. 🥵🥵
When Mancini and Sampdoria dazzled the San Paolo and the home fans showed their appreciation.

My God that looks good!
I’m tempted to leave. Read some vile stuff on there tonight.
That was an unbelievable performance. What an era it was. Either one of them won the league from 1992-1999.
So many big games but I guess as someone who grew to love Serie A in the 90s this was the big game back then, and still has so much history around it.
Might be a controversial thing to say but for me- traditionalist that I am- Milan v Juventus will always be the biggest game of the season.
I’m going next month. Heard great things about it.
I’m guessing Mirko Vucinic gets a spot on the bench?
Absolutely disgraceful. Surely the best one day team in the county’s history wants to give all fans a chance to witness this golden generation?
Achieved something truly special with Ipswich. As a Charlton fan I remember how the clubs were on a very similar footing at the turn of the millennium. Achieving European football in their first season back in the top tier was remarkable.
4 degrees ain’t autumn!
That’s what it was back then. The amount of quality was insane!
And that Milan line up is ridiculously good.
Ahhhh the C4 graphics take me back…. Buffon’s debut for Parma I believe? Was an absolutely shocking game.
It’s our best one day team ever don’t forget.
The irony being Marco Simone scored the goal of the game. Milan were a total mess during Sacchi’s second stint. Going out the UCL to Rosenborg… embarrassing defeats. Think they lost at home to Cagliari on the final day.
The biggest robbery in the history of VAR. Just so the FA could get the final they wanted.
If you think the PL refs are bad…
Looking forward to another VAR-less League 1 carnage of a weekend on here…
