Jürgen Klopp sees it, too: Red Bull New York’s academy is one of MLS’s best again The Red Bulls’ youth movement has taken MLS by storm this season. Here’s how the club’s talent pipeline became the envy of their peers.

John Tolkin once shared his frustrations w/me about how little actual soccer he got to play in RBNY's academy.

Now that's changed. Kids are being allowed to use the ball now.

Really enjoyed this look at RBNY's revitalized academy from @sanjaysujan.bsky.social.

Saludos to the Apple TV camera team for this tribute to the iconic Sting WWE meme, featuring LAFC president John Thorrington

If Niko Tsakiris, Zavier Gozo, Adri Mehmeti, and Julian Hall aren't in a USMNT camp soon after the World Cup ends, I'll be shocked.

Tsakiris has been the best player on the field in this San Jose Earthquakes/LAFC game. What a talent.

trying to double check official stats on MLSsoccer dot com is no longer reliable. Diego Luna scored last night. His profile page on the league site says he didn't.

It's such mind numbingly basic stuff. These mistakes are so small time.

CF Montreal y u so embarrassing? 😳

CF Montreal brass want “progression”. Is that even possible for MLS’s weirdest club? A front office run by the owner’s sons, extended road trips, and a shoestring budget make Montreal an unenviable outfit.

Apparently, CF Montreal's roster ethos is to merge "experienced MLS guys" + "up-and-coming talent", Simone Saputo told @cboehm.bsky.social.

Simone said "we have a good mix" of those things.

"Good mix" is doing *lots* of heavy lifting.

Nashville SC’s turnaround over the last two years has been nothing short of top-tier 🟡

Last night’s historic takedown of Club America at the Azteca is just the latest example of the club’s push forward.

Jon is one of the absolute best. Beyond stoked for him and can't wait to read all of his stuff!

Plus, he's always carrying a cool tote bag around with him. So there's that. Adds to the aura.

Javier Mascherano leaving Inter Miami and taking his entire coaching staff with him.

Pure speculation, but it sure looks like Mascherano found himself a better job somewhere. Very curious to see how this pans out.

Matt Crocker leaving U.S. Soccer will have zero impact on the USMNT at the World Cup and probably won't have a discernible impact in the long term, so everyone should calm down.

Brutal news for Wessam Abou Ali and the Columbus Crew.

Hard not to think that 2026 is done for Columbus, barring an exit for Daniel Gazdag and a replacement Designated Player joining (or a new one being added should WAA be moved to the season-ending injury list).

MLS Winners and Losers: CF Montreal fire another coach, LAFC’s youth pipeline & more This week, we question a chaotic club. We also do a lot of other stuff.

Go ahead and toss CF Montreal into the deep freeze. We were all right to doubt Austin FC. LAFC's Jude Terry might be quite good.

Oh, and the rest of MLS probably should've dismantled the Vancouver Whitecaps this offseason.

Can't believe CF Montreal didn't try to beat their high score from last year, where they gave Laurent Courtois just five games on the job.

They gave Marco Donadel seven games this year. They've gone soft.

🥔 Incredible quote from Eddi Tagseth on Yazbek:

The better part of a year on from Montreal putting out this statement and the club isn’t any less stuck in a mire of their own making.

No fans in the league have more to complain about than CF Montreal.

FC Cincinnati absolutely should not sign Neymar because the dude is made of glass these days, but they absolutely should sign some other dangerous wide attacker.

Meet Matt Wells, the former Tottenham assistant bringing NFL-style play calling to the Colorado Rapids, MLS Just a few months into his first head coaching appointment, Wells is already innovating in hopes of turning around an underperforming club.

After talks with "a couple" Championship clubs, Matt Wells landed on MLS, Colorado Rapids as the spot for his tactical experiments.

I spoke with the ex Spurs assistant for @backheeled.com about his NFL-style plays + more.

"If I’m giving a specific signal from the sideline, that trumps everything."

A brutal turn of events for Agyemang that will have ramifications for the USMNT at the World Cup.

Agyemang is suited to a super sub role, whether that's as an aerial target when the U.S. is trailing or as a release valve on the break when leading.

He'll be missed this summer 🇺🇸

Why D.C. United Are Struggling to Create The data shows a team bypassing its own midfield, struggling to build and leaving Baribo to carry the attack alone.

D.C United rank second bottom in xG created this season. I looked into why the chances aren’t coming and it starts well before the final third.
