It’s even worse than that. He doesn’t want to nationalize voting everywhere. Only in about 15 places, i.e. large cities that have Democratic majorities. He wants to deny the right to vote to all Democrats and give it only to Republicans. A transparent power grab is fully revealed.

I think you've nailed it here. There is a tendency among all of us - conservatives and liberal - to stay in our silo, to only listen to the "comforting voices" that confirm our world view. When reality smacks us in the face, we can't believe it. That's what's happening now with the GOP.
