Three pilgrims walk into a bar…
Sorry, an American here, respect. Carry on.
Will MAGA start with the whole “freedom fries” thing again?
Thank you!
Plus ducks freaking out. Incoming!
Also consider the production and post of single reader vs. cast. There is more to recording a group in studio, and the editing in post would be more extensive. Needs a bigger budget. But I do like the idea of different readers for each perspective, as in a reading of Rashômon, a murder mystery.
First I’ve heard the name stonechat, which i don’t think we have in North America. Thank you!
Was wondering the same, when we’d hear from families of those illegally killed by Hegseth et al.

Was scanning news to validate. Plausible with Trump’s history of not paying contractors but there are no stories to back this up.

Try a “glaze” or sometimes spelled “glazé”, various makers. It’s a reduction so is thicker and has a stronger flavor. Good for adding to fruit or salads as well as bread.
From 2001, A Space Odyssey; Dave, the surviving astronaut on board requests HAL to open the pod bay doors outside of the space ship to let him in. HAL refuses.
I can see how “could have” evolved into spoken “could ah” then devolved into “could have” through social media typing translation.

The irony…oh they don’t get irony.
Thanks for this! One of their early gigs was at San Francisco State University, 1981, in a dorm rec room where my little dorm band also played. They already had that heavy double flam drum sound of Mike Borden’s, Billy’s crisp bass. It was the sound of the future in my impressionable mind.
Was just listening to the album Grant Green - Gooden’s Corner, and thinking I need to read up on his history. Thank you for this great essay Blue Note/Everything Jazz!
Thank you @dannytanaka.bsky.social ! You’re my best and only fan!
This is work in process, a template so far. Changed arrangement since yesterday. (Ditched the Rhodes and replaced upright piano, added strings.)

A little group of us Tally Ho fans on the Sf Presidio side did not realize that she would remain on the diagonal port tack and head in to Sausalito. Thus the high distance.
Tally Ho is a 1910 built gaff cutter restored by @Sampsonboatco. (Insta) She is now on a first cruise since restoration down the US west coast. Tally Ho crossed the Golden Gate under full sail into San Francisco Bay on August 18, 2025

We visit the eastern Sierra about once a year, and have been there in all seasons. This herd of wild mustangs is often in one spot or another east of Mono Lake, CA. This summer they’re sharing a former lake bed with a rancher’s cows.
