#LFC have announced they will permanently retire the number 20 shirt in honour of Diogo Jota following consultation with Jota’s wife, Rute, and family.

The retirement will apply to the club at all levels, including the men’s first team, women’s team and the Reds’ various Academy sides.

After scoring for her country at WAFCON, Nigerian forward Rinsola Babajide honored Diogo Jota with his signature celebration. Rinsola played for Liverpool from 2018-2022. So powerful to see the ways players are honoring Diogo around the world ❤️
