this kiln load was sooooo juicy

the first layer of the soda kiln revealed, numerous highly colorful tumblers and a delicately carved bowl are distributed across two shelves in the upcycled oval kiln

the blushing on this blue porcelain cup is absolutely wild--like a sky blue and cherry red orange peel! the reduction red glaze is also bright and lovely

phi is holding up the witness cones in front of the table of pots from the firing--the cones are draping across one another like soft waves in the ocean

did a wild soda firing last night and here are some results! the pyrometer was only reading 2,120f but my witness cone 6 was already melted! i had to rush to spray the soda before things got too hot. i think i did a pretty good save 😅
