Arliss and I fished the C&R section of the Kenny today. Hit the river about 11 am and fished till 5ish. Initially hard fishing with few fish in a few different spots. Thirty to 40 trout caught in total. Water was a bit high, running fast and chilly.

Last week NBCC‘s #Cybersecurity 2025 year end capstone wrapped up! Congratulations to the winning team, CtrlAltDefeat! All students worked hard and deserve a shout out, but only the top team is awarded the coveted Lappy trophy.

I tried something new. Writing a piece on the awesome state of Fredericton and really all of NB’s #cybersecurity community. Check it out and also see what the rest of #Canada has to be proud of too.

CyberSci is a volunteer run non-profit that works year round to help secure #Canada by supporting post-secondary #Cybersecurity students. Regional competitions happen each fall and Nationals in June. From there the national team is chosen to represent Canada on the international stage!

Managed to get for a fish this past Friday. My buddy Kale and I hit the catch and release section of the Kennebecasis. Caught my first trout of the year on a fly my wife @brynphd.com made. The green wooly bugger. It wasn’t a monster, but it’s a start. Rose a few bigger fish, but no takers.
