Update: it did not end well for the space marines. Mostly because I didn't use a single strategem the entire game, or even army/detachment rules because I'm a stupid idiot baby. Still, I had fun and I did learn quite a bit. Looking forward to my next game!

Another day, another squad. Today I finished up a second squad of my homebrew arbites proxies "Aurelian Justice Department". These are "riot" judges equipped with shotguns, and able to take a single grenade launcher as an upgrade. Can't wait to play some #grimdarkfuturefirefight with them!

My #springbacklogcleaning continues with a weapon to surpass all others... Though I'm gonna pitch the nose down a bit, as it looks a bit high... Very cool model from Wolfe Minis!

Having a grand old time learning #40k

With the announcement of 11th edition releasing in June, I've decided to finally try to learn 40k. Have played several small solo skirmishes today, and am settling in for one more before bed.

Well there's still a lot of cleanup, weathering, and details to do: but that won't stop me from calling this table ready!

I present - the Donnerfalke Thunderhawk by Meowki. Printed in abs resin, shes about 6lbs, 57cm from tip to tail, 23cm tall, and a 50cm wingspan.

I'm not sure about you, but I think the collapse of US hegemony, a global price spike and recession, and a new ground war in the Middle East are far worse than drag queens reading books at the library.

In 2016 I tried getting back into #40k after a decade or so. Bought a box of tactical Marines, and the Tau start collecting box. Today, despite forgetting to do their backpacks: I'm proud to announce that box of tacticals is complete!
