Right but do you see the issue there Alan? Your comparison of "campaigns in the community" also don't fix the issue - should they be stopped?

Just because something doesn't show an immediate, physical success doesn't mean it hasn't worked. Campaigns are about influence and positive change

So unless the action fixes the problem, it shouldn't be taken?

The knee raised awareness, as did the armband - it's a show of solidarity and acceptance - a positive message.

But using your own logic - the community work doesn't fix the issues, much like taking a knee, so should they not bother?

Football isn't just football Alan, you know this - it has and always will be a hell of a lot more to millions. When something is that big, it should be used for positive change.

But using your logic - pushes to end racism and poverty by Football clubs - also something they shouldn't do?

What part of what's being promoted and encouraged - the safety and acceptance of thr LGBT+ community - is not good? I can understand disagreements but acceptance crosses almost all of those boundaries - And why doesn't football concern it? Fans, players ect are all part of the LGBT community?

No, but football has millions of eyes on it. It's important for something that carries as much influence and weight as it does to use that for good surely?
