Let’s be clear: The DOJ has already been subpoenaed. They’re legally obligated to release the full Epstein files—and they’re still dragging their feet.
It’s a shame we’ve even gotten to the point of needing a discharge petition.

I'm in the middle of several long term projects that are vastly more difficult than I had anticipated, and an inner voice spoke:
"You weren't born so that some easy stuff could get done."
I think that's true. For me, and I suspect, for you. Let's keep that in mind during these times, Okay?
One of my favorite phrases ever, that I heard at a weekend confab not long ago, as applied to certain contemporary American politicians, was the phrase: "Spherical Bastards." The explanation was: "They're bastards, no matter how you look at them.
This vet has called it right! It's lunacy!
IDIOCRACY: I can’t get over the fact we’re snapping up working people that are paying withholding and FICA taxes to keep our system afloat. Then the USG contracts with Trumps buddies to create holding camps paying them thousands each day for each prisoner. How long can we sustain this idiocracy?
This should end any doubt whether we’ve entered some N Korea-style dictatorship where facts don’t exist. This is a truly sick person.

This looks like Proud Boys on the loose to me.

I find this very persuasive. What's your take on why Iran was enriching so much uranium to a 60% level?
"The worst thing is the Congress just rolls over and plays dead." Former U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy, in treatment for cancer, is urging lawmakers to step up.

We have a president who virtually never thinks rationally, logically, or even in sequential steps. Nor can he fully comprehend causes and effects. His base of knowledge on virtually all subjects relating to governance and economics and world affairs is minimal. (1/2)
Rep. McGovern fights for the American people at the 1 am Rules Committee hearing.
AOC: When you wake up in the morning, you will realize that you voted to defund planned parenthood and take away health care from 13.7 million Americans and when this country wakes up there will be consequences to pay for this
Spoke to Blue Cross Blue Shield SC top 175 execs yesterday on The Power of Partnership using Aristotle, Homer, Hesiod, Hierocles. R Congressman Trey Gowdy did a super talk on race and the importance of trying to understand each other across our divides that a D like me could love. Great people.
The Republican plan would raise healthcare costs for working families while cutting taxes for the ultra-wealthy. This is not just a budget bill, it's a heartless attempt to take away from those who need it most.

"There is no arguing with the pretenders to a divine knowledge and to a divine mission. They are possessed with the sin of pride, they have yielded to the temptation. This is the sovereign evil against which the traditions of civility are arrayed."
