I'm hosting a new jam and bundle: Cat Jam! Open to all project types, so long as they feature CATS! The jam runs through April, accepting new and existing cat-themed entries.

It's my 40th birthday today! I've been trying to grow my business as an artist since we moved back to Louisiana, but its been a battle. If you'd share my art, it would mean a lot to me and help me out!
My personal shop: nattosoup.com/shop
My Faire: nattosoupstudio.faire.com
Happy Birthday!! Hopefully you've gotten some good treats today?
The League of Gentlemen Zombies shall increase its membership tenfold!
Thank you for your encouragement!
PLEASE, YES
A brown tabby cat named Sophie sits on a pet-sized chair, looking smug. As cats do.
No yarn crafts to share today, but I hope you'll enjoy a cat photo instead.
Yeah! It's gonna be nicer than handing her a selection of my own choices, which may or may not be aligned with her learning.
Ooh, I have a friend who's just starting, and I think PR is basically in their budget, so... This will be good.. Thank you!
The weaving is done and washed.
I can't make this at home because of allergies, but Tuna noodle casserole is pretty good.
Bag of egg noodles (boil)
Bag of Frozen veggies, can or two of cream of mushroom soup, can or two of tuna
Cheese (optional)
Mix all together in a clear 13in baking dish, throw in oven for 20ish mins at 425.
A nearly black project with stripes in red and yellow is on the rigid heddle loom

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.
There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.
Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."
TURN IT OFF.
OHHH I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THE ORANGE KITTEH SMOOCHIES
Oh, yes, that's entirely fair!!
(also may I see the orange babycat please)
Cedar chips work well for keeping them outta clothes and the like!! I think people make balls you can put in your dresser. And sometimes hangers.
Regardless of what happens, I'm glad he's been with you.
This is not a Kickstarter, but a very good cause! My pal @mattasorcier.bsky.social rescued 6 kittens and needs our help to get them to a better life!
A brightly and multicolored triangle crocheted out of boucle yarn against a starry desktop pad.
I bought this yarn because the colorway was called "Tokyo Tower", and did not think about how crocheting with boucle yarn might go. Ah well. It looks cool for a start, at least.
He's been so lucky to have you! Thank you for being his human!
My Lojan Flex arrived today. ...I have to exercise some restraint and finish my current project before getting it set up, but when I do... Hahahahahaaaaa
A blue-green pillow is the focus here.
I have now made a pillow with my own handwoven cloth.
Sewing this was a learning experience I do not wish to repeat.
The #BadArtJam is alive and ready for all your wonderful human-made art!
If you missed it, ai scrapers are hitting itchio hard. I updated the jam page to ask that you price your submissions. For protection, but also because you're worth it. itch.io/jam/bad-art-...

A weaving draft for Rigid Heddle Looms, with one pick up stick and 2 heddles, in black and white, designed to operate in multiples of 6 warp threads. Designed using Not So Rigid Weaver.
A threading Diagram for Rigid Heddle looms, showing the plan for the draft in the previous picture. This features two heddles.
I need to actually swatch this, but I believe I've figured out "A Bumberet" with 2 heddles and a pick up stick on a RHL.
The draft in question is derived from Hargrove's "The Weavers Draft Book and Clothiers Assistant", published in 1792.

I have learned how to read 4-shaft drafts and translate them to rigid heddle patterns.
I shall soon become unstoppable.
Waist up artwork of a character holding a book out in one hand while some papers fly around in front of a bookcase in the background. A curvy smear of ink lines the bottom of the character.
I want to get on VGen! #VGenCode

Now that I have time to sit down and BREATHE, I figured I'd make this post. XD
I did end up taking it off the loom.
My patience for the project dissipated when I fell down the stairs while carrying the loom and broke my toe.
A black tuxedo cat peeks up through yarn attached to a loom's warping peg.
Warping the loom is always an adventure with my cat.
If you're printing at home, make sure to disable any scaling/resizing to fit the page. Do many tests.
Laser printers can't really go to the edge of the paper, but you can get them to at least crop the edges of the pages...
I think my current weaving project is cursed, and yet I'm torn about finishing it. I probably should, to avoid wastage.
