There was a lot of obvious and understandable eye rolling about the final episode title, everyone assuming OK HUMANS ARE THE REAL MONSTERS.

I understand anyone who fawns over the canon and reveres Xenos as the ultimate scary being in the dark, but I've been a fan long enough that... they're just not that scary anymore! Xenos as simple antagonists has been done a LOT and so the approach the series is taking is interesting as fuck to me.

Fans who have been consuming graphic novel Xenos have been used to seeing/imagining them in daylight for a while; and sure they thrive in dark spaces but ultimately a creature as refined for survival as a Xeno needs to be able to operate in the light as well.

I feel you but I also think that there's an interesting reality there - that most things that scare the shit out of us are severely reduced once a little daylight is applied. Why should Xenos be any different?

The Brits have such a way with words. You know. Those things with letter that help you define and say stuff about things.
