Banking deserts are becoming more common across Canada as financial institutions shut down branches in rural and remote areas.
These closures hit seniors, small businesses, and Indigenous communities the hardest. ⚠️

#TPSIC2025 in Rural Canada, lots of orgs don't have high speed internet; certainly this is a challenge for digital resilience. Provincial Govt's switching to fully digital services within a frame where many communities can't access it. We need to be sure to focus some attention on the basics.
