its SO cute but definitely not the same game as animal crossing on the switch!! it definitely feels like a phone game that has elements of “log back in after 6 hours” after your craft is done or after your flowers bloom but there are weekly and monthly events that keep things interesting

yes it has a lot more customization bc it has YEARS of content that used to be kind of an endless money sinkhole, but this new complete app is $10 and there are no micro transactions in the game at all

in game outfit and AC buddy villager, but there is no “live interaction”. your friends more or less become in game NPCs coded to help you with tasks. in short, adding friends makes your friends show up at camp and they are coded to help you with tasks.

service for the original pocket camp app. sadly the “complete” app doesnt have the live friend engagement in the same way the old app did, but there are still minor perks to adding friends. it works similar to amiibo cards where you scan the code and then your friend can come to your camp with their

!! so AC has had this mobile app called pocket camp for a while where you complete tasks, catch bugs/fish and get crafting materials. With the materials, you can design your camp (instead of a town) and a cabin. This new app called pocket camp COMPLETE is the newest app since they ended online
